LATI 86.040

Lati, from the Caesalpiniaceae family, is a wood with a neutral texture that is both bold and recognizable.

Highly valued in interior projects, its qualities and particularly its hardness make it an extremely suitable wood for flooring; in fact, Tabu offers it in its Tailor Made wood flooring collection that can be matched with the same veneer codes to be used for furniture or paneling. Known by the scientific name of Amphimas ferrugineus, Lati is sometimes called white wenge because of the similarity of its grain to wenge (Millettia laurentii), particularly on flat surfaces, which is native to Africa in the areas of Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, and Congo.
