Pterygota macrocarpa or Pterygota bequaertii is a species of tree in the Sterculiaceae family and lives in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, wood with a “neutral” fiber lends itself to being stained in multiple colors with a regular texture ideal for realizations that facilitate the context of furniture. It can reach a height of 35 meters with diameters up to 120 cm.
